"We visited on a super windy day so we didn’t get to utilize the any of the picnic tables set up. But, the atmosphere was super cute. Service was excellent and the food was tasty."

"Wow! Such an experience! It can feel a little overwhelming knowing where to park and how to order if they are busy, but it’s worth it! THE BEST fried catfish in the lake area! Their boudin and fried pies are unmatched as well! We went for the live music once and it was a blast! Can’t recommend enough!"

"We ordered a catfish plate, a shrimp plate, gumbo, and 2 cherry pies. First off the fries were way above regular old fries, even the hush puppies were really flavorful and usually they are just an afterthought. The portions were more than what you’d ever hope for and the sides were delicious too. We had potato salad and baked beans, sooo good. Second, the GUMBO HO LEE SH#+, freaking amazing and 100% the best I’ve had since we moved here from Louisiana. We have spent way more on half the amount and no where near as good. I can’t recommend enough, everyone needs to try!!! You can taste the love in the food and we’re so glad we now have a spot when we want some down home southern flavors."

"We went to our favorite place at Springfield Bass Pro shop. Hemingways..... We have always went there for catfish and seafood. Well we went yesterday for the first time since w have been to Franks Fish shack. And it does not compare the Franks. My husband and I sat there at the table discussing how Franks was leaps and bounds better than our go to place for the last 10 years ..... Franks is our new go to spot. "Today was our first experience at Frank's. First off my wife and I agree that the food is seriously of gourmet quality. Catfish nuggets were perfect, the hush puppies were seasoned beyond expectations, as well as being pleasantly moist. The fries were great as well as the three salads we got. We can't agree on which salad is the best. Then there were the desserts! The fresh strawberry hand pies tasted like fresh out of the garden. The cap on the meal was the turtle cheesecake. OMG! It was light, fluffy, moist, and absolutely delicious. If you haven't gone to Frank's you need to, just for an opportunity of self indulgence."
